Please see the Club Rust website for the latest building plans http://www.clubrust.com/schematics.htm . There is a animated diagram of the foundation house and latrine at http://clubrust.com/plans/animation.gif   this is a fun way to see what the finished home and latrine looks like inside and out!

There are two homes shown:

 A.  16'x20' home on a concrete pad called a foundation home.   This 16'x20' house is built on a concrete slab foundation and has a 160 sq. ft. loft built over 2 small bedrooms inside. The living space of this house is 480 sq. ft.  It has electrical wiring, but electricity usually comes to the areas after we build.  The 16'x20' home is currently $5,200.00  This includes a safe, sanitary latrine built next to each home. The families receiving these homes must prove that they own the land we are building on or are making regular payments on the land to the owner. This is to reduce any chance of dispute over ownership of the home once the house is built.

 B.  10'x12' home we call a "casita". The home can easily disassembled and moved if necessary.  The small casita is built for the families living on property they do not own and making adobe bricks for a living.  These are Mexico's very poor and helping them is a major focus of Club Dust energy.  The casita house takes 5 people a full day to build and assemble.  Current price is $1,709.00 including drywall inside.
